Terms of Service
1. Eligibility
The IAMT Network is a private, application-only professional network for the Institute for American Manufacturing & Technology. Membership is by application review and at the sole discretion of the Institute's directors. The Institute may accept, hold, or reject applications without obligation to state a reason.
2. Acceptable use
By using the network you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or demean other members
- Post spam, commercial promotion outside designated spaces, or automated content
- Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliation
- Share confidential or non-public content from closed or secret groups externally
- Circumvent security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions
- Scrape, mirror, or bulk-export other members' data
- Use the network to promote illegal activity or regulated content
3. Content ownership & license
You own the content you post. By posting content, you grant the Institute a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, cache, and deliver your content within the IAMT Network to eligible members for the duration of your membership. This license terminates when you delete the content or your account, subject to retention needs for moderation and legal compliance.
4. Moderation & termination
The Institute may warn members, remove content, suspend or revoke membership for violations of these Terms or the Code of Conduct, with or without prior notice. You may close your account at any time from Settings.
5. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Institute's liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid the Institute in the preceding 12 months.
6. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of incorporation of the Institute for American Manufacturing & Technology, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
